Shift Manager – Mc’Donald’s

This position is in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee is the employer and is responsible for all employment matters. McDonald’s USA has no involvement in hiring or employment decisions.

The Shift Manager ensures that customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. You will lead crew and other managers during shifts, monitoring performance, ensuring quality service, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting safety. You will also plan shift operations, manage inventory, schedule crew, and assist the next Shift Manager with a smooth transition.

• Food Safety – maintain food safety standards.
• Internal Communication – keep staff informed and aligned.
• Inventory Management – monitor supplies and order as needed.
• Daily Maintenance and Cleanliness – keep the restaurant clean.
• Managing Crew – lead crew and manage scheduling.
• Quality Food Production – supervise food production for quality.
• Exceptional Customer Service – ensure high service standards.
• Safety and Security – monitor safety and security.
• Scheduling – create and adjust crew schedules.
• Training – train new hires and ongoing crew.

• 18 years of age or older.
• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• Positive team player with a flexible schedule and passion for fast‑paced service.
• Ability to meet shift targets and support departmental goals.
