DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Engineering Technician I to join our team as a Cable Assembly Technician supporting the US Navy in Bedford, IN
ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting various types of cable assemblies used in different applications for military applications. This entry-level position offers a great opportunity to develop hands-on experience and grow within our engineering and manufacturing team.
QualificationsREQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma/GED and zero years of experience.
- No clearance required to start however must have the ability to obtain a secret clearance. SAIC will sponsor the clearance process.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision.
- Capability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
Preferred Experience
- One or more years of experience in cable assembly, electronic assembly, or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Manufacturing experience.
- Familiarity with cable types, connectors, and assembly techniques.
- Proficiency with hand tools and testing equipment used in cable assembly.
