Maintenance Technician – Tesco

As a Maintenance Technician across the Catterick area, you will ensure our stores remain safe, functional and welcoming. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of systems and equipment, helping to keep operations running smoothly.

• Interact confidently with external contractors and coordinate repairs.
• Collaborate with the  sharing best practices and knowledge.
• Maintain high energy levels and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Assist the management team in keeping stores operating smoothly by maintaining equipment and facilities.
• Minimise customer disruption during repair work.
• Ensure all sites are safe for customers and colleagues.
• Follow planned work schedules to achieve first‑time fix and improve efficiency.
• Use mobile devices (phone and tablet) for work completion and updates.
• Represent Tesco with a positive attitude and pride in uniform.
• Attend local and national meetings, providing valuable input.
• Support a diverse and inclusive culture.

• Previous experience in maintenance, engineering or construction.
• Operational skills: ONC or equivalent, full driving licence, health & safety awareness, communication, collaboration and Office 365 knowledge.
• Completed relevant technical training modules.
• Digital confidence with tablet use.
