Dump Truck Driver

Employee essential in the mobilization of materials between facilities, job sites, and customers. Employee is also expected to help in the yard as needed and operate a loader.

• Deliver product and material goods in a safe and timely manner
• Coordinate delivery schedules using most efficient routes
• Conduct a safety inspection of the vehicle before delivery including tire pressure, basic fluid levels and pneumatic controls
• Provide customer service
• Follow policies and procedures to ensure the job is done properly
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance as an essential function of the job
• Physical ability to operate equipment and to transport material
• Maintain a courteous and professional manner with co-workers, customers, and the public (attitude/cooperation)
• Adhere to OSHA/MSHA safety standards and be flexible with last minute schedule changes, location changes, and time of shift changes; overtime may be required
• Transport material with attention to detail and emphasis on safety
• Initiate performance or assistance with other positions for job completion
• Adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) policy and maintain individual PPE in functional condition
• Pass drug test and background check

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred, but not required)
• Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Prior driving experience or a current Certification from a DOT compliant CDL Driving School
