Overview

Position:
Meat Cutter (Sam's Club) – Part-time

Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr the actual pay is based on skills and experience. • Be a Team Member:
  Collaborate with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicate with team members; be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas.
• Be an Expert:
  Demonstrate knowledge of floor operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; prepare meat products according to established standards; cut boneless meat products; maintain product quality standards.
• Be a Techie:
  Use digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and engage associates; use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
• Be an Owner:
  Maintain operational excellence; keep work area clean and in line with policies; ensure quality and date control standards for meat products; secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise; eliminate waste; assist members with purchasing decisions; ensure merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored per policies.
• Be a Talent Ambassador:
  Model high quality service and products; exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
• Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics and integrity standards; apply policies in executing processes and practices.
• Completes work by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; identify priorities and deadlines; communicate progress and information; seek opportunities for improvement and adapt to change and feedback.

Additional compensation may include premiums paid in certain circumstances. The hourly wage range is $16.00 to $23.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Benefits and eligibility vary by plan and location.
