OR Registered Nurse | Beckley, West Virginia

A registered nurse with expertise in operating room procedures is needed to support surgical services in Beckley, WV. This contract role requires strong clinical skills and experience in a variety of surgical specialties including Orthopedics, Vascular, Gynecology, Robotics, ENT, and General surgery cases.

Responsibilities:

• Provide circulator nursing care in the operating room, ensuring patient safety and optimal conditions for surgery.
• Coordinate with the surgical team to assist during procedures, maintaining strict adherence to sterile techniques and protocols.
• Manage patient care before, during, and after surgery, including monitoring vital signs and responding to emergencies.
• Participate in call rotations, covering every 4th weekend and two weeknight shifts.

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure with operating room experience.
• Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) are required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Orthopedics, Vascular, GYN, Robotics, ENT, and General surgery.
• Must reside within a 100-mile radius of Beckley, WV.
• Ability to start promptly with orientation provided bi-weekly.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM.
• Call coverage every 4th weekend and two nights per week.
