ResponsibilitiesPosition Summary: Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department.

Patient Populations Served:
Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult.
Protected Health Information Accessed:
Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record.
Exposure:
Occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens is present for all employees.
Physical Requirements:
Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements. Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex.

QualificationsEducation: Associate's Degree in Nursing required;
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
License/
Certifications:
Current RN license in state of practice; BCLS required; ACLS, PALS, NRP, and Handle with Care preferred.
