Overview

Registered Nurse-CCU - FT -

The CCU provides critical intensive care to Medical, Surgical, and Cardiac patient population. Therapies provided in the Coronary Care Unit include but are not limited to: administration of vasoactive drugs, respiratory/ventilator support, management of cardiac status with continuous cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring, parenteral and enteral nutritional support, temporary transvenous pacing, Intra Aortic Balloon Pump Therapy, thrombolytic therapy, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), peritoneal dialysis, and acute hemodialysis performed by a hemodialysis nurse.

The nurses are trained in critical care, neurological examination and the use of the invasive and non-invasive equipment.

Graduate of a School of Nursing / College Nursing Education Program

Current licensure by the West Virginia State Board of Nursing.

Pass pre-employment medication test with a score of 80% or better
