Overview
The West Virginia Regional Clinic Administrator is responsible for the on-going development, management and implementation of existing and future components of the Ambulatory services programs and ensures quality outcomes on a day-to-day basis.
Responsibilities- Plan, develop and implement overall goals of the Ambulatory Services.
- Responsible for leadership of the Physician Services. Resolves conflicts between groups and individuals.
- Analyze and evaluate goals and objectives, budgets, financial strategies, and operating functions for areas of responsibilities.
- Assists in the financial review of medical practice to promote high-quality medical care.
- Supports DMV Standards And Other Licensure Requirements. Assists the Medical Staff in ensuring that all evaluation and utilization review functions are performed.
- Calculates physician settlements quarterly per contracts.
- Prepares Ambulatory Services monthly operations book.
- Responsible for reviewing the financial statement, accounts receivable, operations, and financial analysis.
- Prepare financial statements proposed adjustments for submissions to the Corporate Fiscal Department.
- Develop and implement a business plans as needed.
- Completes and submits timely reports as required and requested.
- Monitors and promotes improvements in outcomes measurements.
- Performs other duties as necessary.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Preferred Master’s Degree in a health care related field; minimum of five (5) years’ experience in health care leadership position;
Travel required as necessary and some overnight stays.
Physical Requirements
Must possess physical ability to endure prolonged sitting; moderate walking; lifting and carrying; exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally; and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently; and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Requires ability to endure excessive typing. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for sedentary work.
Specific Accountabilities- Accountable for planning and developing overall goals of Ambulatory Services.
- Accountable calculating physician settlements quarterly per contracts.
- Accountable for leading clinic managers/ administrators in developing best practices and continuing education efforts.
- Accountable for review of Ambulatory financial statements, accounts receivable, operations, and financial analysis reports.
- Accountable for preparing various reports for Ambulatory Services.
- Accountable for keeping the Administrator of Ambulatory Services Officer apprised of Ambulatory Services activities.
