Responsibilities- Supervise the provision of assistance to persons served to promote their physical, social, and psychological well-being, ensuring staff interactions promote the rights of persons served to achieve an enhanced quality of life.
- Develop and implement activity schedules for each person served, monitor staff adherence to procedures, and promote optimal health care and behavior supports, including service plan implementation and staff training.
- Ensure staff complete all required documentation to maintain quality services.
- Monitor labor hours and ensure service sites operate within budgetary guidelines.
- Manage client funds, receipts, and proper documentation.
- Deploy staff appropriately and maintain staffing ratios in compliance with regulations and service plan requirements.
- Prepare and post schedules promptly and utilize staff efficiently.
- Conduct performance reviews, staff counseling, and corrective actions, including work improvement plans and follow-up.
- Provide feedback and oversight on staff documentation such as daily progress notes, data sheets, and incident reports.
- Assist with reviewing and tracking incident and accident reports and participate in investigations involving persons served and employees.
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration standards and complete related training, documenting compliance per company and regulatory requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- BA/BS in Business, Health Care Administration, Social Science, or equivalent work experience of 3 years with a High School diploma/GED.
- At least one year of supervisory experience.
- Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and/or related disorders is preferred.
- Experience managing systems, processes, and people.
- Must meet all agency pre-employment requirements per company and state regulations.
- Depending on location, certification as a Food Service Director may be required.
