How You'll Contribute- Collects and processes blood specimens for testing in the laboratory.
- Fills in as needed in the department.
- Functions as one of the department's primary contacts with patients.
- Assists with clerical duties.
- Performs phlebotomies.
- Performs laboratory Information System functions.
- Maintains a clean work area and proper stock on supplies.
- Applies knowledge of age‑related factors appropriately to patients, utilizing appropriate policies and procedures.

- Applicants should hold a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Completed an approved nationally accredited training course or program in Phlebotomy (required qualifications). Additional requirements include:
- Certification from ASCP or NHA is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
