Required Skills:

• Board Certification in Oncology or Hematology/Oncology
• Active state medical license and DEA registration
• Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in oncology practice
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR system
• Ability to perform specialty procedures such as bone marrow biopsies
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to adhering to healthcare standards and patient safety protocols

Nice to Have

Skills:

• Additional certifications such as BLS and ACLS
• Experience with hospital inpatient care
• Prior experience in a cancer center setting
• Bilingual abilities or additional language skills

Preferred

Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Oncology fellowship trained
• At least 3 years of post-fellowship practice experience

Other Requirements:

• Must have a clean background; pre-approval and comprehensive background checks are mandatory
• Willingness to obtain temporary licensing if necessary
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with inpatient call every third week
• Coverage requirement: full-time, at least 3 weeks per month

Compensation:

Hourly Pay Rate: $507.00

This position begins on May 1, 2026, with a contractual period of one year. Credentialing is expected within 45-60 days.
