You’ll work with the store team to deliver high‑standard clinical care and customer service, meeting both patient needs and business objectives. You’ll also play a key part in creating a warm and friendly environment for our customers and team.

Based in Beccles, this modern 4‑room test store has served the local market‑town community for the past 3 years. With free parking right behind the store and future expansion plans, this small outlet offers plenty of potential.

The team comprises 20 in‑store colleagues, all with at least Cert 3. You will have access to a wealth of knowledge and support across all areas of the business. Development is central to the store: one resident optometrist is on the Specsavers Pathway Development Programme, another is undertaking the Independent Prescribing course, and three TDOs are working on the shopfloor. Community involvement is also key, with the Beccles team regularly fundraising for a local donkey sanctuary.

• Salary: up to £65k pro rata.
• Bonus: up to £5,000 available for relocation or joining.
• Flexible working pattern: 3‑4 days per week, must include weekend work. Regular days can be accommodated as rosters are released 3‑4 months in advance.
• Individual set‑up for Optometrists: after probation you can manage your own diary/clinics of 20‑25 minute tests.
