Job Summary

Are you passionate about supporting patients in regaining independence or receiving compassionate end‑of‑life care? Do you want to grow your skills in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment? If so, we’d love to hear from you.

Our nurse and therapist led Intermediate Care Unit offers a rewarding setting, focused on rehabilitation and reablement, with six Specialist Palliative Care inpatient beds. We use a team nursing and therapy approach, delivering person‑centred care, with support workers working directly alongside qualified nurses or therapists.

This Band 3 role is ideal for experienced support staff. Less experienced candidates can start as Band 2 Rehabilitation Support Worker or Healthcare Assistant, with a clear development pathway to progress to Band 3 through training and supervised practice.

We’re looking for committed, compassionate individuals who want to make a meaningful impact every day. This is a 24/7 service and requires availability for nights, weekends, and bank holidays. Right to work in the UK: only candidates who already have the legal right to work in the UK are considered.
