Apprentice Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team. What is an apprenticeship? An apprenticeship combines paid employment with structured learning and assessment. You learn while you work, with a mix of practical experience, mentoring and off-the-job training that leads to a formal qualification.

They suit a wide range of people, including school leavers starting out in education or support roles and career changers looking for a practical route into the education sector.

• Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
• Working with individual pupils or small groups to boost their confidence and learning.
• Assisting with classroom preparation and resource management.
• Promoting a positive learning environment and ensuring pupils feel supported. Previous experience is not required - full training will be provided
• A passion for working with children
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• A willingness to learn and take on new challenges
• Commitment to completing the apprenticeship, leading to a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification. Salary above the national minimum wage for apprentices
