Title: Software Engineer 5
Location: Remote, US
Duration: 3 months contract

WHATYOU WILL WORK ON
- Leads the design and development of technical solutions that have significant strategic, long-term impact on the business and achieve competitive advantage for the company, aligned with the strategic objectives of Nike and future architectural standards.
- Brings technical knowledge into the organization from external sources and links new, emerging technologies with business needs.
- Drives the development of productive networks with stakeholders, including internal business partners and vendors.
- Ensures technical support and problem resolution for stakeholder inquiries and production issue resolution meets business needs, making changes to processes as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field
- 8-10 years of progressive experience in software engineering roles with increasing responsibility
- Proven full stack engineering experience with demonstrated ability to work across all layers of application architecture
- Extensive experience with .NET framework and ecosystem
- Strong background in web application development and deployment
- Advanced proficiency with SQL Server, including database design, optimization, and performance tuning
- Expert-level proficiency in C# programming language with deep understanding of object-oriented principles
- Comprehensive experience with MVC (Model-View-Controller) architectural pattern and ASP.NET MVC framework
- Advanced JavaScript skills including ES6+ features, asynchronous programming, and modern development practices
- Proficient in React framework including component lifecycle, state management, and modern React patterns
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful Web Services and API development
- Working knowledge of Databricks platform for big data analytics and machine learning workflows
- Experience with Teradata data warehouse solutions and enterprise data management
- Strong foundation in HTML5 and CSS3, including responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)
- Knowledge of Dev Ops practices and CI/CD pipeline implementation
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git
- Understanding of software testing frameworks and test-driven development
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed system
