Location: Portland Metropolitan Area
Position Summary: Are you someone who enjoys working independently and thrives in various work settings? Our client, a leading property management company, is seeking an experienced
Maintenance Technician to join our team! This full-time position involves extensive travel throughout the Portland metropolitan area.
Our client is a leading company in property management and construction, dedicated to providing high-quality services to their tenants in the greater Portland Metro area.
Qualifications- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in maintenance, with at least 1-2 years in property management maintenance preferred.
- Skills: Excellent customer service, critical-thinking, above average problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and efficiency. Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in Spanish a plus.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Licenses: Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
- Vehicle: Must have a truck or similar working vehicle in which you can haul ladders and tools.
- Tools: Must have some of your own tools.
- Background Check: Candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Reference Check: Candidates must provide professional references
- Complete work order requests efficiently and accurately.
- Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs.
- Perform drywall repairs and painting (interior and exterior).
- Train/teach other technicians.
- Turn vacant units and prepare them for new tenants.
- Lift and move items up to 75 lbs.
- Organize, schedule, and prioritize work orders effectively.
- Maintain a neat appearance and adhere to personal hygiene standards.
- Efficiently use Gmail and Google calendar on a smart phone.
- Timely completion of daily paperwork.
- Pay Rate: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Expected
Hours:
40 hours per week. - Schedule:
- 8-hour shifts
- Day shift (Monday to Friday)
- On-call duties on nights and weekends on a rotating schedule.
