Fleet Mechanic - Night Shift

• Help maintain and repair class 8 trucks, trailers, including hydraulic repair, brake work, electrical repairs and welding
• May perform service repairs in the field
• May have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of units from small fleet vehicles, class 8 trucks and trailers
• Complete all paperwork that may be necessary
• Must have own basic hand tools;
  Knife River provides job-specific tools and has a replacement policy for large tooling
• Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent any unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed
• Other duties assigned as needed

Hours:

9:00 pm - 6:00 am (Later start / finish time available). Sunday-Thursday or Monday
- Friday available.

• Previous mechanical experience on class 8 trucks and trailers
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Welding and fabrication experience desirable
• Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, physical/functional exam and drug screen
• Display a professional and courteous attitude towards all team members
