WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

The Senior Merchant, Energy Jordan North America works within the Nike Jordan Energy team—an engine of culture, creativity, and product vision. This role reports to the Senior Manager of NA Energy Merchandising and partners closely with Global Merchandising, Sales, Planning, Business Integration, and Brand Marketing to bring some of Jordan’s most coveted concepts to life.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a sharp product instinct and a deep understanding of sport culture and its influence on the marketplace. They lead with a consumer-first mindset—rooted in cultural relevance, trend awareness, and storytelling that moves people. They combine merchandising expertise with operational precision, blending art and science to shape assortments that fuel Jordan’s Energy offense.
They navigate complexity with ease, balance multiple priorities, and see around corners. Their communication is crisp, their collaboration natural, and their ability to translate insight into action unmatched. They bring a disciplined process orientation paired with a passion for the future of product, culture, and the Jordan consumer.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Product Creation or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
  • 2–5+ years of experience in Merchandising, Product Creation or Sales
  • Expertise in trend analysis and consumer insight translation
  • Strong product, fashion, and style acumen with marketplace understanding

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

In this role, you’ll help drive the Jordan Energy vision across North America by shaping collaboration assortments, ensuring systems readiness, and supporting the seasonal offense from planning to marketplace handoff.

  • Partner with the Senior Manager to capture geo needs for Jordan Collaborations and White Space concepts.
  • Manage footwear and apparel assortments for some of Jordan’s most anticipated and culturally relevant products.
  • Maintain seasonal accuracy in systems while sharing key updates with cross-functional teams.
  • Work closely with Global Merchandising, Sales, Planning, and Brand Marketing to build and execute consumer-led product strategies.
  • Support the line planning process and ensure a seamless handoff to marketplace partners.
  • Monitor cultural and trend insights and translate them into clear, consumer-right product decisions.
  • Contribute to storytelling and product narratives that strengthen Jordan’s connection to sport culture.
