Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; occasional Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Job Description

Our client is seeking a motivated and results-driven Retail Furniture Outlet Manager to lead a local showroom team. This role combines leadership, sales, and business operations. You’ll manage a small sales staff, drive revenue, and explore new opportunities to grow the store’s customer base. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys sales, leading a team, and taking ownership of store success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and motivate two sales associates to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service
  • Sell furniture and accessories directly to customers on the sales floor
  • Track revenue and analyze performance metrics to drive business growth
  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels and oversee scheduling
  • Identify new business opportunities, including partnerships with non-profits and local companies
  • Oversee inventory management and purchasing as needed
  • Ensure the store’s appearance, layout, and customer experience meet company standards
  • Work closely with upper management to implement promotions and operational improvements
Qualifications
  • Prior management or supervisory experience required
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills
  • Proven success in sales; furniture industry experience a plus
  • Experience with inventory management and purchasing preferred
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
  • Goal-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment
