Overview

CORT is seeking a full‑time Furniture Outlet Manager in Beaverton, Oregon. The Furniture Outlet Manager oversees day‑to‑day sales and operations of a CORT Outlet Center, manages a team of Outlet Sales Associates and Retail Stock Clerks, drives sales, manages inventory, merchandise the showroom, and ensures operational efficiency. The manager develops and executes strategic marketing and revenue plans, fosters strong customer relationships, and aligns outlet performance with broader business goals to support organizational growth.

Salary

$40,000 – $48,000 per year, based on experience, plus a generous commission structure. Estimated total earnings can be $55,000 – $63,000 per year!

Schedule

Monday‑Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, some flexibility may be required.

Responsibilities
  • Team leadership and management – coach, motivate, and build a high‑performing team of Outlet Sales Associates and Retail Stock Clerks.
  • Sales and revenue generation – drive sales of previously leased and new furniture, achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals, maintain margin targets.
  • Showroom merchandising and presentation – oversee pricing and product placement to maximize sales.
  • Inventory control and management – minimize idle inventory, manage product transfers, conduct inventory age analysis.
  • Operational efficiency – manage logistics, overtime, purchase orders, supplies; keep showroom and warehouse clean, safe, and organized.
  • Customer service excellence – resolve complaints, ensure satisfaction and retention, build lasting relationships.
  • Marketing and promotion – develop online sales strategies (e.g., Facebook Marketplace), execute marketing campaigns, coordinate with vendors.
  • Administrative duties – manage staffing, time records, purchase orders, store supplies, high‑level quotes; maintain accurate reports.
  • Collaboration – work closely with internal departments (Operations, IT, HR, Customer Service, Admin) and external partners (vendors, distribution teams).
  • Other duties as assigned – perform additional tasks to support outlet operations and business objectives.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required;
    Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 5 years of retail experience in furniture or related field.
  • 3 years of supervisory or management experience preferred.
