* Job Description:
** The
** Assembler III
** is a highly skilled technical role responsible for the assembly of complex electronic and electro‑mechanical products. This position requires expert‑level proficiency working with
** microscopic, fragile, and high‑tolerance components**, and the ability to interpret and execute work based on schematics, diagrams, and detailed written or verbal instructions. The Assembler III independently performs advanced assembly processes, validates component tolerances, documents findings, and supports production throughput in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.##

* Key Responsibilities:
**** Advanced Assembly & Technical Processes
*** Operate
** laser cutting equipment
** in accordance with documented procedures to cut, extract, and prepare polymer membranes and related components for production or engineering evaluation.
* Assemble polymer membranes onto electronic probe components, including part placement, clamping into proprietary fixtures, UV‑curing operations, and managing cure‑time sequencing.
* Perform mechanical assembly of mixed‑material components using
** precision screw fasteners, adhesives, and micro‑tools**.
* Execute all technical duties of an
** Assembly Technician II**, providing support and mentorship as needed.
* Review and interpret
** assembly documentation**, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), schematics, and work instructions.
** Process Management & Quality Control
*** Prioritize and sequence assembly tasks to maximize output, considering product run schedules, curing cycles, and delivery commitments.
* Perform
** tolerance stack‑up calculations
** and validate component tolerances to ensure build accuracy and product reliability.
* Assemble micro‑scale components under a microscope using specialized jigs, fixtures, and calibrated hand tools.
* Set up and execute test procedures to verify compliance with build specifications.
* Collect, organize, and evaluate
** Statistical Process Control (SPC) data
** to support continuous improvement and process validation.
* Set up and operate specialized production equipment in alignment with documented processes and safety requirements.
* Safely handle chemicals such as solvents and adhesives, ensuring compliance with all safety rules, PPE requirements, and cleanroom protocols.
** Work Environment &
Physical Requirements:
*** Works full shifts inside a
** cleanroom environment**, handling chemicals while wearing protective clothing (e.g., smock, hairnet, gloves).
* Performs microscopy‑based work for extended periods—up to
** 80% of the shift**, depending on assigned station.
* Reads, interprets, and documents work electronically and in written form.
* Frequently pushes or pulls
** 10–15 lbs
** and routinely lifts
** up to 6 lbs
** of materials.
