Job OverviewEntry-level general labor/baler position at Beaverton Bag Plant with a wide variety of internal growth opportunities. We are looking for a motivated individual who is looking for a long term career in a fast-paced production environment. Our workplace requires individuals who are safety minded, mechanically inclined and understand the needs of the business while maintaining focus on customer satisfaction, quality and productivity.
The primary function of the baler is to move and palletize pre-wrapped bundles of paper bags at the end of a bag production conveyor line.
Day Shift – 7:00am – 3:00pm
Swing Shift – 3:00pm – 11:00pm
Night Shift – 11:00pm – 7:00am

- Follow production order to stack 10-50 pound bundles on pallets
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as, but not limited to, hearing protection, safety glasses, gloves, and safety steel toed shoes
- Utilize vacuum lift to move heavier bales from the discharge conveyor to pallets
- Wrap bundles using paper gum tape
- Occasional use of manual pallet jack
- Sorting and lifting pallets
- Baling 3-5 machine lines per shift
- General housekeeping duties
- Other duties as assigned
- Ability to utilize basic math
- Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Physical ability to stand 8 to 12 hours
