Job OverviewAs a Manufacturing Associate – SMT Staging, you will perform a variety of kit set‑up activities including loading inventory on mechanical feeders, setting up pick‑and‑place programs, stenciling, applying solder paste, and labeling boards. You will also be responsible for putting away material, measuring components, and cross‑training in lateral positions as required.
Responsibilities- Contribute to continuous improvement, training and workplace programs.
- Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate clearly, using in‑person, phone, email, and written reports.
- Motivate the team and create a positive working environment.
- Maintain benches, tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Strong self‑management, problem‑solving, and work accuracy with attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks to meet daily requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to interact with personnel at all levels throughout manufacturing.
- Ability to follow detailed written and verbal directions.
- Proficiency handling extremely small and/or fragile components and tools.
- Ability to use visual aids and detailed drawings to verify product quality.
- Positive and professional communication in person, over the phone, email, internet or in writing at all times.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Obtain J‑STD and IPC certification within 90 days.
- Three or more years of stockroom experience with electronic components.
