SMT Machine Operator; Swing

The SMT Machine Operator collaborates directly with the Team Coordinator and department supervisor to ensure printed circuit boards are assembled to specification in a timely manner. This position is key to company quality standards.

• Perform machine set‑up, clean‑up, and surface mount machine operation according to standard operating procedures.
• Maintain quality documentation for set‑up, machine operation, inspection results, and daily operations.
• Perform material activities required to maintain accurate control of all material staged in the machine area.
• Perform minor maintenance as required to operate machines efficiently.
• Support continuous improvement by looking for opportunities for improvement and working projects.
• Maintain a clean and highly organized area and perform other duties as assigned.

• High‑level critical thinking, attention to detail, analysis, and oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated highly motivated strong leadership and teambuilding skills with self‑motivation, problem solving abilities, team spirit and a “hands on” mentality.
• Effectively manipulate extremely small and/or fragile components and tools.
• Ability to use visual aids, complicated drawings to verify quality products.
• Knowledge of common manufacturing processes and/or equipment operation.
• High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent.
• Ability to obtain J‑STD and IPC certification within 90 days.
• SMT Machine Operations 1+ year experience.
• J‑STD and IPC Certification.
