SUMMARY OF DUTIES
As a Case Management and Support Staff Supervisor in Beaverton you will:
Direct and supervise employees and programs in a team environment. The employees supervised by this position provide case management to Medicaid recipients in long-term care and in-home settings within Washington County. This position also utilizes detailed knowledge of local community resources to maximize effective service delivery for clients and to integrate APD (Aging and People with Disabilities) programs in the community.
This position uses program and technical knowledge and skills and abilities to plan, organize, and monitor the operations of a team of employees.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Four years of lead work, supervision, or progressively related experience;
One year of related experience and a bachelor’s degree in behavioral science or human services.
ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES
- Experience reviewing needs of the team and their ability to manage their workload and provide services
- Experience providing direct and timely training and coaching of individuals to increase staff knowledge and application of rules
- Experience using trauma-informed de-escalation tactics in response to time sensitive or tense situations to guide peaceful resolutions to disputes or perceived disputes
- Experience taking in large amounts of information, managing multiple initiatives, and meeting deadlines consistently to achieve desired outcomes
