Our Manager‑in‑Training (MIT) program provides a 12‑week blend of hands‑on and computer‑based training to develop leadership and operational skills across housekeeping, laundry, and related operations.

• Conduct general training & comprehend housekeeping, heavy housekeeping/floor tech, and laundry worker duties.
• Assist in training, quality control, and in‑servicing staff per policies and statutory requirements.
• Provide leadership support to maintain quality standards, inventory, safety, and customer service.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Coach staff on quality control and documentation.
• Handle managerial tasks: payroll submission, staffing patterns, coaching, disciplinary actions, purchasing, inventory maintenance, and budgeting.
• Communicate directives from client managers, building occupants, and administrators to HCSG staff.
• Adhere to safety protocols, use PPE, mix cleaning solutions safely, report equipment needs, and follow infection control policies.
• Maintain punctuality, attendance, and complete tasks per schedule.
• Represent HCSG positively to staff, guests, and residents.

• Positive attitude with ability to follow oral & written instructions.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills for record keeping and web‑based reporting.
• Ability to work scheduled shifts and be on time.
• Compliance with COVID‑19 vaccination policies.
• Physical capability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs, push/pull 50 lbs, and perform tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to work around food and cleaning products.
