This role plays a critical senior leadership role in shaping and executing the company’s global supply chain strategy. This position is ideal for a dynamic leader with a passion for the industry and deep product knowledge, who thrives on building strong supplier partnerships and driving operational excellence. The role influences key business outcomes by ensuring reliable supply, optimizing inventory, and fostering supplier relationships that serve as true extensions of our business.
This role executes a comprehensive global supply chain strategy for the Company, to include a strong focus on sourced products. Drives initiatives that ensure efficient, cost-effective systems and processes to support customer order fulfillment, supply chain planning, inventory management, global sourcing strategies, and purchasing activities. Demonstrates deep product knowledge and a passion for the industry to align supply chain decisions with customer expectations and market trends.
- Partners with the VP, Manufacturing & Global Supply Chain to define and develop global supply chain strategies and action plans that support the Company’s business objectives.
- Oversees supply chain planning activities for sourced products across multiple categories, ensuring accurate forecasting, inventory optimization, and timely delivery to meet customer demand.
- Partners with the internal Inventory Manager to ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained to support internal production needs while balancing cost and service objectives.
- Develops and executes global sourcing strategies for component parts and finished goods, leveraging market insights and product expertise to drive competitive advantage.
- Leads supplier development and partnership oversight, working closely with commodity managers to ensure suppliers are treated as strategic extensions of the business. Builds strong, collaborative relationships that foster innovation, quality, and reliability.
- Collaborates with Engineering on New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, ensuring supply chain readiness, supplier capability and timely sourcing of components to support product launches.
- Participates in the development and implementation of new or improved supply chain systems and architecture to enhance value chain performance and scalability.
- Partners cross-functionally to ensure supply chain processes deliver cost-effective, efficient operations while maintaining customer satisfaction and achieving business goals.
- Develops and tracks metrics and success criteria for all supply chain initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with strategic objectives.
