Availability

Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm. Before transitioning to a hybrid role, the initial phase will include 2-4 months of in-office training (Beaverton, OR, off 217).

Exciting opportunity for a career in Provider Support Services as a Provider Engagement Coordinator — a key position that bridges provider relations, credentialing operations, and data management. The Provider Support Services Department, operating under the Technology Division, plays a vital role in maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and security of provider data while supporting credentialing, network operations, and provider engagement. This structure enables close collaboration with IT and Data Management, ensuring the credentialing workflows and provider communications are efficient, compliant, and technology-driven.

This role is ideal for Medical Staff Services professionals or credentialing specialists who thrive on accuracy, communication, and collaboration. The Provider Engagement Coordinator plays a vital role in maintaining strong relationships with our network providers, supporting credentialing and recredentialing, and overseeing network operations to ensure compliance with NCQA and health plan standards.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary liaison between providers and the company, ensuring clear communication and positive relationships.
  • Support credentialing and recredentialing activities by coordinating provider communications, tracking submissions, and assisting with application follow‑ups.
  • Manage provider changes such as relocations, terminations, and status updates to maintain accurate and compliant data in our systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve provider inquiries, credentialing discrepancies, and data integrity issues.
  • Assist with delegation audits, provider onboarding, and ongoing monitoring processes.
  • Contribute to provider education materials and communications regarding credentialing, compliance, and policy updates.
Qualifications
  • Experience in healthcare services, credentialing, or medical staff services preferred.
  • Familiarity with credentialing workflows and systems (Credential Stream experience a plus).
  • Strong communication, organization, and follow‑up skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities accurately and efficiently.
  • A collaborative, proactive approach to problem‑solving and provider engagement.
