Speech Language Pathologist - Oklahoma at Connections Academy
Position Summary:
Full‑time, fully remote Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for Connections Academy virtual public schools, K‑12. The role involves providing speech therapy via webcams and web conferencing, and managing caseloads in the company’s Education Management System.
- Provide high‑quality speech‑language services to assigned students while supporting program implementation.
- Plan and implement individual and group therapy in a virtual environment.
- Serve as an expert on school and state policies for Live Speech services.
- Maintain positive relationships with the Live Speech team, schools, and programs served.
- Review and analyze reports to maintain compliance.
- Communicate regularly with leadership, school staff, parents, learning coaches, and special education staff to ensure IEP goals are met.
- Document therapeutic interventions and progress reports accurately and timely.
- Meet bi‑weekly with supervisor.
- Conduct screenings and formal and informal evaluations of students’ communication needs.
- Consult with teachers to coordinate specially designed instruction as defined in IEPs.
- Provide special education case management for select speech‑therapy–only students, including scheduling and conducting IEP meetings virtually.
- Ensure accurate, up‑to‑date data in the Education Management System and special education software.
- Adhere to all data protection and security laws and company policies.
- Obtain and maintain required licenses and clearances.
- Complete required professional development, training, and CEU courses.

- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- MA or MS in Speech Language Pathology and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence.
- Valid Oklahoma Licensure in Speech Pathology.
- Ability to obtain and maintain multiple state certifications and clearances as assigned.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a K‑12 school setting.
- Strong technology skills.
- High flexibility and ability to work independently.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to use a personal electronic device and email address for 2‑step authentication.
