Overview

Preschool Lead Teacher – Jump Start Program at Cedar Hills Recreation Center

Do you have a passion for working with preschool-age children? Are you team-oriented and safety-conscious? If so, we want you on our team! We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our 9-month Preschool Programs.

Jump Start at Cedar Hills Recreation Center is an engaging nine-month, curriculum-based program inspired by the Reggio Emilia theory of education.

Job Opening

Preschool Lead Teacher — Responsible for planning and leading the nine-month preschool program. Incumbents work independently, within established guidelines, to develop, coordinate, supervise, and instruct the day-to-day activities of assigned program areas and provide lead direction to assigned part-time staff and volunteers.

Compensation

Pay Rate Range: $26.43 - $29.75 hourly

Schedule & Duration

We are hiring for part-time year-round positions that may be scheduled 20-29 hours per week, starting in February 2026 and running through May 2026.

Hours are typically Monday – Friday, between 8 am to 1 pm.

Responsibilities & Information
  • Plan and lead the nine-month preschool program.
  • Develop, coordinate, supervise, and instruct day-to-day activities of assigned program areas.
  • Provide lead direction to assigned part-time staff and volunteers within established guidelines.
Qualifications & Application Notes
  • Interest in working with preschool-age children.
  • Team-oriented and safety-conscious.
