Product Designer – Specialized 3

Pay: $50.00/hour

Hours: Monday–Friday; typical business hours (Onsite Monday–Thursday, WFH Fridays)

Location: Beaverton, OR 97005 (Onsite / Hybrid)

Overview

The Product Designer – Specialized 3 supports the design and development of technical, functional apparel for a global athletic brand. This role focuses on apparel construction, concept development, and execution, working closely with cross‑functional partners to bring innovative product ideas to life. Confidentiality, collaboration, and strong design execution are critical for success in this role.

Job Description
  • Design and develop technical, functional apparel products from concept through execution.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of apparel construction and garment assembly.
  • Translate concepts into clear, compelling design presentations and visuals.
  • Utilize Adobe Illustrator and CLO 3D to develop and refine designs.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with industrial designers, digital designers, and other partners.
  • Work autonomously while maintaining strong communication with the broader team.
  • Support confidential projects involving new and upcoming product initiatives.
  • Participate in up to two rounds of interviews as part of the selection process.
Required Skills
  • 5+ years of experience in a product design role (more strongly preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of apparel construction and garment development.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
  • CLO 3D experience.
  • Ability to effectively bring concepts to life through visual design and storytelling.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
Education Requirements
  • Degree preferred but not required.
  • Adobe Illustrator and/or CLO 3D certifications are a plus, not required.
  • Prior experience designing technical or functional apparel strongly preferred.
  • Prior Nike or comparable brand experience highly preferred.
