Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Apparel Pattern Engineer who brings deep technical craftsmanship, precision, and a love of athletic apparel to every garment they touch. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in the details of fit, construction, and pattern integrity, while also collaborating closely with designers, athletes, and product teams to bring performance-driven women’s apparel to life.

The right candidate blends hands‑on pattern expertise with strong communication and documentation skills to turn creative concepts into production‑ready garments.

Location:

Hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.

Senior Apparel Pattern Engineer Responsibilities
  • Translate designer sketches and concepts into accurate, production‑ready technical patterns and measurements.
  • Create, adjust, and refine women’s athletic garment patterns from scratch or from existing blocks to achieve optimal fit and performance.
  • Conduct fit evaluations and make pattern corrections based on athlete, wear‑test, and product feedback.
  • Document pattern changes, construction details, and fit updates within digital product and record‑keeping systems.
  • Partner with design, development, and technical teams to ensure garments meet functional, quality, and performance standards.
Senior Apparel Pattern Engineer Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in technical design, pattern engineering, or pattern making for women’s apparel.
  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience creating and adjusting patterns for women’s athletic or performance wear.
  • Strong knowledge of knit garment construction, with working familiarity of wovens preferred.
  • Ability to build technical patterns directly from designer sketches and fit intent.
  • Experience using digital product or pattern management tools (e.g., PLM, PDM, PCX, or similar web‑based systems).
Compensation

Compensation: Up to $48/hr. (DOE)
