As part of the Tektronix Customer-First strategic pillar, the Customer Success Specialist is often the first contact a customer has with Tektronix. In this role, you will enable high customer retention and influence purchasing decisions.

You will ensure highest quality customer interactions, serve as a liaison between departments, advocate customer needs, and become an expert in Tektronix’s products and services. Your active listening will maximize customer delight and revenue potential.

Responsibilities
  • Review daily order management with the team to ensure orders are booked, held, and shipped.
  • Execute order management processes in accordance with policy.
  • Respond to internal and external customer inquiries.
  • Quickly and accurately create quotes and booking orders.
  • Proactively track order status and notify customers of delays.
  • Complete export compliance screening as needed.
  • Identify and create leads from customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with field sales, credit, logistics, and supply chain to solve problems and improve processes.
Essential Capabilities
  • Experience in an order management function or customer service role.
  • Demonstrated customer‑first attitude and desire for continuous improvement.
  • Ability to partner with technical sales to become a trusted collaborator.
  • Problem‑solving skills to identify issues in owned processes.
  • Experience navigating Oracle ERP or similar systems for quotes and orders; familiarity with Dynamics or other CRM preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication; ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Outstanding organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Flexibility within team environments.
Job Requirements
  • 1‑2 years of experience in order management, customer service, technical support, or inside sales.
  • Experience with Oracle preferred.
  • Experience with MS Dynamics 365 preferred.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent considered with appropriate experience.
