Job Description
  • Seeks a Lead Product Designer for Apparel to guide the creative process in developing seasonal design concepts for performance apparel.
  • Involves collaboration with a direct team of ~10 and cross-functional partners like industrial and digital designers, focusing on innovative, technical products while maintaining confidentiality for new projects.
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Guide the creative process through the design season, collaborating with innovation designers, developers, and product managers to deliver exceptional products.
  • Lead and develop seasonal design concepts for performance apparel, from concept to final design, including base layers to outerwear for men’s and women’s.
  • Mock up samples, create presentations and storytelling, review prototypes and revisions for seasonal product launches, while meeting cost requirements and deadlines.
  • Problem-solve apparel product creation, translate complex ideas into design narratives, and elevate apparel through craft and construction.
Must Have
  • 5+ years of experience in a product design role, preferably more, within the apparel sport industry, with strong knowledge of apparel construction and how garments are put together.
  • Proficiency in CLO 3D and Adobe Illustrator, with ability to bring projects to life and effectively show concepts.
  • Passion for sport culture, performance design, trend, and visual culture, plus knowledge of product creation and graphic application for performance apparel.
Nice to Have
  • Bachelor's degree in Apparel Design or related field (preferred, not required);
    Adobe Illustrator/CLO 3D certifications.
  • Experience with Vizcom or other digital spaces; prior similar brand experience designing technical, functional apparel.
  • Expert presentation, storytelling, and professionalism skills.
