Job Description - Community Relations Director
As a Community Relations Director, you will serve as a trusted resource for seniors and families exploring independent living, assisted living, and memory care options. You will lead tours, follow up on inquiries, guide seniors through the move-in process, support community events, and build strong referral relationships with local partners and businesses to drive occupancy and engagement. The Springs at Murrayhill is an established and welcoming community.
The community offers thoughtfully designed spaces, engaging programming, and amenities that support comfort, connection, and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales and outreach strategies to achieve occupancy and sales goals
- Create and sustain a culture of positivity, collaboration, and success
- Define and implement community outreach and referral plans
- Track and analyze prospect and customer interaction data
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity, providing insight and feedback
- Partner closely with The Springs Living marketing team on local initiatives
- Sales and management experience in the senior living industry or a related relationship-based sales industry
- Basic knowledge of the medical profession/industry
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to pass a criminal background and drug test
- Degree in business administration, sales, and/or marketing or related field preferred
- Creative, independent thinker with strong strategic sales abilities
- Genuine, relationship-driven approach aligned with The Springs Living values
- Experience with strategic planning and execution
- Ability to clearly articulate the community's value to key decision-makers
- Skilled in navigating sensitive conversations with empathy and professionalism
- Big-picture mindset for building long-term relationships
- A genuine love for seniors and a willingness to continue learning
