Accountant, Financial Reporting, Accounts Receivable​/ Collections

Description

We are looking for a skilled Accountant to join our client's team on a contract basis in Beaverton, Oregon. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management. You will play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial records and assist in supporting audit preparation processes.

Responsibilities:

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with precision and attention to detail.

- Perform daily and monthly journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.

- Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between financial statements and bank accounts.

- Oversee general ledger activities, ensuring all entries are properly recorded and categorized.

- Support audit preparation by gathering and organizing necessary financial documentation.

- Review and resolve discrepancies in financial transactions and accounts.

- Prepare detailed financial reports and summaries for management review.

- Collaborate with team members to enhance overall efficiency in accounting operations.

Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or related financial roles.

- Proficient in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger processes.

- Strong knowledge of journal entries and bank reconciliation practices.

- Experience using Net Suite or similar accounting software.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

- Solid understanding of audit preparation and financial documentation requirements.

- Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
