K  is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Engineer to be a part of the team that supports the Department of the Air Force advanced air platform testing and rapid development.

* Key Responsibilities:

*** Design, develop, test, and debug high‑quality software applications with a primary focus on C++.
* Build and maintain modeling and simulation software, ensuring reliability, scalability, and adherence to industry best practices.
* Collaborate on software architecture and design, contributing to the planning and implementation of new features and system enhancements.
* Write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code, following established coding standards and development processes.
* Work closely with cross-functional team members in a fast‑paced, agile environment to deliver high‑value capabilities.
* Participate in peer code reviews, offering constructive feedback and supporting continuous improvement across the engineering team.
* Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects to ensure stable and reliable system performance.
* Deploy, configure, and maintain applications in a containerized environment.
* Support the creation and execution of test plans, ensuring thorough validation of software functionality and performance.
* Stay current with evolving tools, technologies, and best practices in modern software development.

* Required:

*** High School Diploma or Associates degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
* 3 to 5 years of programming experience; preferably with C++
* ** Active DoD Secret clearance
*** Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
** Desired:**
* ** Active Top Secret clearance
*** Excellent interpersonal and intrateam communication skills
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* MBSE experience
* Flight Simulation and/or Aerospace Engineering background
