Talent Manager
Position Summary
Odyssey Systems is currently hiring a Recruiter to join our team in Dayton, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in recruiting for defense contracts and a deep understanding of the unique requirements and challenges of the Department Of Defense (DoD) contracting environment. This role involves sourcing, screening, and hiring of qualified candidates for different DoD contracts, ensuring compliance with all federal regulations and company policies.
This is a hybrid position with a three-day office requirement.
- Talent Acquisition:
- Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract and employ top talent for DoD contracts.
- Source candidates across multiple platforms, including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
- Conduct exhaustive screening and interviews to evaluate candidates’ experience, credentials, and organizational fit.
- Client and Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing demands and job specifics.
- Maintain strong connections with inner stakeholders and external clients for alignment on recruitment objectives.
- Stay regularly updated the hiring managers and stakeholders on hiring progress and hitches.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Guarantee all recruiting operations follow Federal standards and internal policies.
- Keep precise and updated logs of all candidate engagements and recruitment steps in the ATS.
- Candidate
Experience:- Ensure a pleasant candidate experience by clear and swift communications at all recruitment phases.
- Arrange and facilitate interviews, offer negotiations, and onboarding processes.
- Follow-up new hires to confirm a seamless transition and rectify early concerns.
- Market Research and Networking:
- Keep abreast on industry trends, competitor movements, and labor market situations.
- Participate in industry events, fairs, and networking occasions to build a candidate pipeline.
- Use professional circles & associations to capture premium candidates.
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related discipline.
Years of
Experience:
At least four (4) years of recruitment experience with one or two years supporting DoD contracting.
Certifications: CIR and equivalent credentials are preferred.
Technical
Skills:
- Provenance experience in recruiting for DoD contracts, or being in the defense industry.
- Strong knowledge of DoD regulations, security clearance processes and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other hiring software. iDeliver experience is a plus i.
- Priority experience working in a flowing illicit environment.
