The Mortgage Servicing Specialist provides high-quality support to members and partner credit unions by handling loan-level mortgage servicing inquiries and transactions across multiple channels. This role ensures accurate, compliant, and empathetic service while delivering a consistent, five-star member experience in a fast-paced call center environment.

Responsibilities
  • Process mortgage servicing transactions, including payments, account maintenance, and information requests.
  • Respond to member and partner inquiries via phone, email, voicemail, fax, and mail within established service levels.
  • Provide mortgage information such as payoff statements to members and third parties (e.g., title companies).
  • Follow all policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and risk mitigation controls.
  • Complete member verification and adhere to security and fraud prevention standards.
  • Conduct outbound welcome calls and participate in call campaigns as needed.
  • Support reporting, metrics tracking, document requests, and other operational tasks.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to resolve member and partner issues.
  • Assist with training and support of new team members when requested.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some post‑secondary education preferred.
  • Customer service or call center experience required; mortgage servicing experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to learn and use multiple software applications and loan servicing systems.
  • Accurate keyboarding and data entry skills.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to prioritize and work independently.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high-volume, team‑oriented environment.
  • Commitment to providing empathetic, compliant, and member‑focused service.
