This position requires independent critical thinking, technical expertise, and guidance in the design, development, integration, testing, and evaluation of complex systems. The incumbent will be responsible for staying current with the latest technologies, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure systems meet performance, reliability, and safety standards.

- Serve as technical representative for systems engineering methodologies, tools and processes.
- Lead and/or participate in design, development, and integration of systems, subsystems and components from concept to sustainment.
- Conduct detailed analysis and modeling of systems, including performance, effectiveness, and vulnerability assessments.
- Develop and maintain system specifications, technical documentation and engineering drawings.
- Develop and execute test plans and procedures to verify system performance and compliance.
- Analyze test data, identify performance issues, and recommend corrective actions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers and team members.
- Stay abreast of advancements in technologies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present technical reports, presentations, and briefings to internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
- 3+ years of systems engineering experience on complex systems.
- 2 years experience using modern digital engineering tools and processes.
- In‑depth knowledge of system-of-systems and design principles.
- Commanding understanding of engineering principles and processes.
- Proficiency with digital engineering software/tools (MATLAB, Atlassian, ANSYS, CAMEO, Team Work Cloud, CAD software, AFSIM, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of relevant military standards and specifications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools, Python scripting.
- Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Must possess an active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
