Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead and manage all on-site EHS programs at a manufacturing facility. This role reports to the Director of Operations and partners closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance, drive continuous safety improvements, and achieve zero‑incident performance.
Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day EHS operations at the assigned facility
- Implement and maintain company-wide safety programs and compliance initiatives
- Ensure adherence to OSHA, EPA, WDNR, DOT, and local regulations
- Serve as primary hazardous waste engineer and lead waste reduction and recycling programs
- Manage SDS and Hazard Communication programs
- Lead environmental monitoring, inspections, audits, and reporting
- Conduct Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and implement risk controls
- Perform ergonomic assessments and lead ergonomic improvement initiatives
- Lead EHS training programs for employees and leadership teams
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns and drive corrective actions
- Champion risk reduction initiatives and Drive to Zero safety programs
- Manage environmental permits and regulatory reporting (Tier II, emissions, hazardous waste, TRI, air monitoring)

Must-Have Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of progressive EHS experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience implementing safety programs
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of waste management regulations
- Experience implementing lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives
- CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager)
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional)
- CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist)
- PE (Professional Engineer)
- Strong understanding of OSHA, EPA, WDNR, DOT, and local regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of safety equipment and industry standards
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or EHS-related field
