Customer Service Associate - Temporary at Walgreens

$15.00/hr - $17.50/hr base pay range

• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Register sales on assigned cash register and provide courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, resolving issues and answering questions.
• Model and share best customer service practices with team members.
• Recommend items for sale and trade‑ups, process returns, refunds, and exchanges.
• Maintain counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, take inventory and keep accurate records.
• Apply company asset protection procedures and ensure compliance with state and local laws on regulated products.
• Construct and maintain displays, complete resets and revisions.
• Assist with food item separation, product placement, inventory rotation.
• Operate store systems and equipment, including photo area services.
• Handle web pick‑up responsibilities and monitor orders.
• Assist with interior and exterior maintenance to ensure store appearance.
• Comply with all corporate policies and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

• Attend training and complete PPLs as requested.

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

• At least six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prior work experience with Walgreens.
