Overview
Position:
Member assistant – cart attendant at Sam’s Club. You help shape our member’s shopping experience by giving them a positive first and last impression. In this role, you are responsible for ensuring members see a well-kept parking lot, helping with purchases, and ensuring carts are ready and available. You will assist members with loading their vehicles and contribute to a great member experience.
This is a fast-paced, on-your-feet role in all weather.
$16.00/hr - $23.00/hr
Responsibilities- Maintain a positive attitude by smiling, greeting and thanking members.
- Provide exceptional customer service to members across the club; answer questions as needed.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
- Thrives in fast-paced environments and multi-task effectively while prioritizing member satisfaction.
- Stand for long periods while assisting members quickly and accurately.
- Tackle obstacles to ensure tasks are completed with excellence.
- Assist with club pickup orders: notify when pickup time is delayed, inform when products are unavailable, offer alternatives, and assist with packaging and loading for pickup or vehicle transport; resolve issues and concerns; promote company products and services.
- Conduct safety sweeps and follow procedures for handling merchandise; report unsafe situations to management.
- Process member purchases and payments according to policy; operate cash registers; locate and organize merchandise; zone designated areas.
- Maintain parking lot cleanliness and ensure carts/flatbeds are available; assist with transporting items as needed.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics; follow Open Door Policy in daily work.
