Join a dynamic team in the chemical manufacturing industry as a Laboratory Technician I, where your expertise will directly contribute to quality assurance and control in plant operations.
Role Overview- Conduct routine and non-routine laboratory analysis/wet chemistry on product and in-process samples to support quality assurance/control.
- Perform calibration and maintenance of test equipment to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare samples and maintain accurate data generation and records in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Utilize analytical instruments to address quality assurance/control issues effectively.
- Prepare chemical stock solutions and reagents, establishing preparation standards.
- Receive direction and support from lab supervisors/chemists.
- Chemicals:
Knowledge of chemical properties and handling. - Quality Assurance:
Familiarity with quality control systems and methodologies. - Chemical Safety:
Understanding of safety protocols in a laboratory environment. - Computer Literacy:
Proficient in using computer applications for data management.
- Qualifications:
Polytechnic graduate with a background in Chemical/Process/Technical Engineering. - Experience:
Preferable experience in quality control systems.
