Beaumont Health Care Center is hiring a Charge Nurse (LVN or RN) for our 2:00 PM–10:00 PM shift. You’ll lead the nursing team on your shift, coordinate care, and jump in clinically as needed to ensure safe, high-quality, resident-centered outcomes.

What You’ll Do
  • Own the 2–10 shift: run huddles and handoffs, set/adjust assignments, support staffing needs.
  • Lead & mentor:
    Supervise CNAs/LVNs, coach in real-time, and reinforce policies and best practices.
  • Clinical support: assess changes in condition, administer meds/treatments, and cover a cart when needed.
  • Admissions/returns: complete initial assessments, obtain orders, coordinate with providers, update families.
  • Quality & compliance: ensure accurate EMR documentation (MAR/TAR, notes, incidents), support infection control, falls prevention, and survey readiness.
  • Team coordination: collaborate with the DON, IDT, providers, pharmacy, and therapy; escalate appropriately.
  • Emergency response: initiate protocols and notify leadership/providers as required.
What You Bring
  • Active Texas LVN or RN license in good standing.
  • SNF/LTC experience preferred; prior charge/lead experience a plus.
  • Current BLS/CPR.
  • Strong clinical judgment, delegation, and communication skills; calm under pressure.
  • EMR proficiency (Point Click Care  a plus).
  • Reliability for 2:00 PM–10:00 PM with every‑other‑weekend/holiday rotation.
