Warehouse Specialist

Summary:

The Warehouse Specialist supports daily warehouse operations in a fabrication shop by receiving, organizing, and distributing materials essential to production. This role is ideal for someone looking to begin a career in manufacturing or industrial operations. Responsibilities:

• Assist with receiving shipments and verifying materials against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Label, organize, and stock materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Pull and stage materials for fabrication teams to help keep production on schedule.
• Learn to operate material-handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided).
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle counts.
• Prepare materials for outbound shipments, including packaging and documentation.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures, including proper use of PPE.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient material flow.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-2 years of warehouse, construction, manufacturing, or labor experience.
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
• Basic computer skills or comfort learning inventory systems.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
