Overview

Job Description:

Office Location — Beaumont, Texas, United States.

Responsibilities
  • General supervision of all Office Retail Operations, i.e., New Accounts, Certificates of Deposit, Tellers, Collections, Safe Deposit, Bookkeeping inquiries, and Customer Service.
  • Hire, track, and coach, counsel, and support retail staff in all phases of sales, customer service and work detail.
  • May be assigned to the officer call program.
  • Actively participate in the sales and service culture, support the values of the organization, and follow established Bank policies and procedures.
  • Periodic travel to Abilene or other Bank Regions for training is required.
  • Saturday hours and holiday hours may be a requirement based on branch location’s hours of operation.
Qualifications
  • Six years of retail banking experience, two of which must be in management, either in banking or another retail environment.
  • A four-year college degree in business/finance is a competitive advantage.
  • Basic math proficiency and aptitude.
  • Demonstrated academic record of achievement in social and leadership skills.
  • Aptitude to handle sensitive operational transactions and customer relationships.
  • Professional appearance & demeanor.
  • Strong social skills and excellent communication skills & a self-starter mentality.
  • Ability to adjust to flexible hours and to sell products and services.
  • Will supervise staff of at least five employees and daily operations.
  • Thorough knowledge of negotiable instruments is strongly desired.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and/or extended hours as business requires.
  • Periodic travel to Abilene or other Bank Regions for training is required.
