General DescriptionAs the Center Manager, you will manage all location staff functions to provide exceptional customer service while maintaining financial integrity. You will set annual/monthly sales and production objectives, protect Goodyear assets (inventory, A/R, trucks, equipment), and reduce operating costs.
Responsibilities- Manage daily and annual operations of the commercial tire center.
- Drive sales and profit growth, ensuring productivity of sales staff.
- Ensure total customer satisfaction through a quality culture.
- Supervise and train center personnel, including department managers, service managers, and office managers.
- Keep management updated on competitive products, practices, and distribution.
- Prioritize workload to meet business needs.
- Train, develop, and motivate teams toward common goals.
- Lead all sales personnel in user calls and presentation of fleet tire and alignment analysis.
- Manage safety, health, and environmental processes; conduct morning safety huddles and report incidents.
- Perform manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting, standing, bending, and squatting.
- 2+ years of successful management experience.
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle and ability to meet commercial driver qualification requirements; minimum age 21.
- No relocation is being offered.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Ability to meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree.
- Commercial tire sales or service experience.
- Knowledge of tire manufacturing and process systems.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Commitment to safety procedures and a safe work environment.
- Results‑oriented, fast‑paced team player.
- Self‑starter willing to take initiative and work without direct supervision.
