Maintenance Supervisor ; Prado Place

Maintenance Supervisor I to join our team at Prado Place
, a 56-unit affordable housing community located in Beaumont, TX
. In this role, you will oversee the maintenance operations of the property, and perform maintenance functions. The pay range for this role is $23.00-$26.00 per hour dependent on experience. The selected candidate will adhere to the following schedule:
Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST with on-call duty required and availability to work weekends, as needed.

• Maintain the maintenance operation at the property on a day-to-day basis as a working supervisor in such areas, but not limited to: appliances, carpentry, hardware accessories, masonry, painting, basic electrical, basic plumbing, and basic HVAC.
• Maintain grounds and curb appeal through snow removal, landscaping, and trash management activities.
• Complete monthly building and unit inspections to ensure property is maintained to operating standards.
• Review third-party property inspections to resolve maintenance repairs.
• Responsible for preparing work schedules for the maintenance team and vendors to complete service requests, maintain the preventive maintenance program, and facilitate overall curb appeal.
• Maintain working knowledge of all maintenance programs and capital improvement projects. Solicit bids from contractors with approval from the Property Manager and Regional Maintenance Manager.
• Participate in on-call activity during off-hours and emergencies.
• Complete hands-on maintenance activity.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Less than 1 year of supervisory experience.
• A current vehicle license in good standing and meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy.
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC.
• EPA and/or HVAC certification.
• Experience with computer systems, particularly Microsoft Office.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Outstanding supervisory skills.
• Ability to manage and work with a diverse group of people and personalities.
• Availability for on-call activity during off-hours for urgent needs.

• Vocational or technical training.
• CAMT certification.
